8 in a row!!

This challenge is doing me good! I have worked out the past 8 days in a row and feel great, although a bit drained and my legs are SHOT after two hard spin days in a row. Today was an easy, recovery 30 minutes on the elliptical at lunch, and some stretching.

I have not run since Friday, despite AMAZING weather here in NYC. It has taken A LOT not to get out there and run, from what I have heard, the park has just been crazy with the heat wave. My hip is feeling OK- still definitely sore and nagging, but the sharper pains that were prohibiting movement have gone away. I miss running :(

Plan for tomorrow is a double spin (1:45), then an hour swim. Hoping that taking it easy today on my legs will help get me through it.

Oh, and I found out today that there is a gym on the campus where I work (my employer rents space in a building on a University campus), and apparently b/c I have an ID, I can use it for free. Going to check it out this afternoon, if it has showers, etc, I may even be able to do some lunch time running on the East River in the spring!

  1. Ah, the ole hip thing? You rolling on a foam roller yet? LOL!! With that impressive schedule of halfs (mary's and ironmans), you will be ready to take on a marathon in no time!
