Random Ramblings.


I want a snickers and dr. pepper for breakfast. so far, i have resisted (its only 9 45).

Cape Town in March. SO excited. Favorite city, favorite hotel, hands down.

this weather is perfection. i have run on the treadmill exactly once in the past eight weeks.

i'm kinda-sorta excited about my swim volume right now.

this week i spent no money on food other than our weekly grocery store shopping. (HUGE bank account win) However, I bought shoes, a new garmin, got my hair cut, and scheduled another hair appointment (HUGE credit card fail).

the boy worked regular hours this week, which means 5 evening in a row, at home, together. i love the boy, and love the time together, but DAMN how do people do that all the time??I NEED MY SPACE. give me the remote.

my hip hurts. i'm dealing with it.

last night the forecast said 45-50 on Sunday, but then they were talking about snow - wtf?

looking at a townhouse/apartment tonight. fingers crossed. may screw up my commute, but it has two bedrooms.laundry.two floors.hardwood.SPACE.a stoop.

i have three training logs. running ahead, training peaks, and now a shared google doc with my coach. i have reasons for all three, and can't let go.

i've eaten a spinach salad every night this week with dinner. yum-O.

i want pizza.

1st wedding of the year next weekend. no clue what i'm going to wear. we went to a wedding at the same place last year. there is a DESSERT ROOM. yes, you read that correctly. A room, full of dessert. Milkshake shots, cotton candy, fondue, ben and jerrys, cake, dessert sushi, candy apples, sundaes, you name it. We weren't prepared last time (too full). This time, our plan is to basically skip dinner. Apps+vodka bar+dessert is where it's at. I love NJ weddings.

I really don't want to work today.

  1. A snickers bar is nutritionally very similar to a cliff bar. Go for it.

    (I once ate one in the middle of a set of 20x200 yards lactate threshold. It was awesome.)

  4. Big CC fail for me this week too: registered for two races, new running shoes, and new running shorts.

    I also have three training logs. My first task each morning is to get them all synched. It's a lot of work for no good reason, but I'm pretty sure I need them all, right?
