Following the plan.

I have been following the plan since January 4. Letting someone else take over the thinking part, all I have to do is 'DO' - it's refreshing. When it comes to both the healing and the training.

No matter how much I have wanted to run, for two weeks, the plan called for no more than 15-20 minute runs. I listened, and amazingly, the knee is holding up and I am seeing longer runs this week.

Last night was yoga. 'Power Vinyasa' should have been called 'Let's see how long you can balance on one leg before your hip flexor buckles' (then let's do it on the other side).

It was great.

  1. It is great that your knee is holding up! Nothing wrong with a little time off cross training to let your body repair itself! Not sure power yoga is recovery, but hey, what do I know? :)

  2. Isn't it awesome having someone else do all the thinking for you? I wish I had that someone! Instead, I continue to pound myself into the ground :)
