It's craziness like this that makes me wonder if I could ever live anywhere else....
Saw this live, in person yesterday about 4pm:
And last night's storm, starting around 10ish, was seriously the most intense thunder/lightning I have ever heard in my life. I guess it moved up the Hudson, which is about 800 meters from my window. It caused the most tree damage in Central Park in 30 years, blocking some of the roads/trials. It's a good thing I slept through my alarm :)
