It reminds me why I love running. You can do it anywhere, anytime, with anyone. I have been so lucky to have explored 18 hilly miles in Cape Town, and have run with a serious ultra-marathon champion, while discussing HIV/AIDS in his country. I have also felt the international running love while carry the American Flag during the International Friendship 5k in Cape Town before Two Oceans in 2008.
Please notice me beating the Canadian,after 8 weeks of no running :)
I have tentative plans to be in India for work during my training for a fall marathon, and I look forward to seeing what I discover while running on the beaches of the Bay of Bengal.
