New Delhi

As my coworkers have started to arrive, the reality that this portion (and most of the entire trip) is actaully for work has settled in. I have some major work still to do on the pressentation I will be giving at the conference on Wednesday, and now that some of my coworkers are here to help, I can start to polish it up.

I did a half day sight seeing tour of New Delhi yesterday, I can't imagine how someone would have the stamina to do a full day! I have been trying my best to listen to my body (ie leg) about when enough if enough- At just about the three hour mark yesterday I was done for. Aching for a comfy bed. So the last hour I had the driver simlply drive me around and point out some sights (The house of Ghandi's martyrdom, the UN compound, India Habitat Centre,where many international non-profits, including the one I work for, are located).

Starting tomorrow will be work all day until Wednesday. It is going to be exhausting but hopefully quite enjoyable to network and meet some coworkers that I have been working with for 2+ years but have never met (they are located in various African countries.)
