Exactly one year ago, I said I would....
In a very strange and almost scary way, this list perfectly manages to encompass and capture my year, from beginning to end. I smiled my way to the finish line of my first Ironman, said goodbye to a comfortable job and hello to a new professional challenge, made amazing new friends while maintaining and strengthening old relationships. I hope I became a better partner to my other half and am excited for our immediate future together as it continues to evolve and grow for the better.
- Read more. Yes
- Sleep more. Yes
- Sleep earlier. Yes, through August
- Wake earlier. Ditto, through August
- Eat more green. Eh...
- Eat less white. Still trying to kiss wheat goodbye...making progress.
- Run hills. Sort of.
- Ride hills. Definitely --> One of the best days of 2012.
- Swim a lot. It's all relative.
- Run even more. Satisfied with where I am and where I'm going.
- Travel smartly. Doubtful.
- See the sunrise on Table Mountain. YES!
- See the sunset on Victoria Falls. Sadly, I think I let this slip through my fingers.
- Climb a bridge. YES!
- Work hard. In oh so many ways.
- Become an Ironman. Check!
- Be. Indeed

congrats on a big 2012 and meeting so many of those goals! Gonna be hard to top that in 2013, but I'm sure you will!
